While the M2 World Championship was barely coming to an end, Moonton already started to launch new competitions in Southeast Asia. As such, the new seasons of the Mobile Professional League and MLBB Development League will begin very soon – so let us tell you where to watch your favorite mobile esports teams.
MPL ID Season 7 starts on February 26th, and the group stage ends on April 26th. The tournament will feature eight of the region's best teams with updated rosters: Geekfam, Genflix Aerowolf, Evos Legends, Bigetron Alpha, Aura Fire, RRQ Hoshi, Alter Ego and Onic Esports.
Compared to the fifth season, the last season of MPL ID improved its hours watched and peak viewers indicators by 68.4% and 56.8%, respectively (based on data excluding Nimo TV). The main question is, will the new competitions be able to break the records of the league?
MPL ID Season 7 will air on Nimo TV, Facebook and YouTube and will be available in Indonesian, English and Spanish.

MDL (MLBB Development League) can be seen as a sort of offshoot of the MPL and represents an excellent chance for novice teams to show themselves, as well as to break into the top esports league. Therefore, well-known organizations are sending their youth teams to the tournament.
Taking part in the new season will be EVOS Icon, Siren Esports, Dewa United E-sports, Alter Ego X, ONIC PRODIGY, RRQ Sena, Geek Fam Jr, Genflix Aerowolf Jr, Kings Esports, Red Bull Rebellion, Victim Esports, XCN West Bandits, Aura Esports and Bigetron Bravo.
The third season of MDL starts on February 22nd and shall run until April 8th (group stages). The tournament will be available for spectators on such platforms as Facebook, Youtube and Vidio.
The second season of MDL attracted 217 thousand peak viewers, and RRQ Sena became the event’s most popular team. Let's see if it will be as successful in terms of attracting the audience’s attention as during the last year.
